Why we built this
Buying makeup online is a guess. Swatches on a model rarely match your skin tone, and returning used products is often impossible. We built UpUpImg so you can see a look on your own face first — upload one photo, pick a style, and get a realistic preview in seconds.
How it works
Our AI studies the geometry and lighting of your photo, then renders the selected makeup style — from natural glow to bold glam — while keeping your identity, expression and background intact. Every result is generated for your photo only; nothing is shared, and your uploads are never submitted to search engines.
The AI model behind it
Makeup previews are generated by Google Nano Banana Edit (model ID: google/nano-banana-edit), accessed through the Kie.ai API. Google applies its own safety filters to every generated image; our full content rules are in the AI-Generated Content Policy of our Terms of Service.
Free to try, honest about limits
The try-on tool is free. AI previews are simulations, not exact color matches under every lighting condition — we would rather tell you that up front than oversell. For critical shade decisions, preview first, then confirm with a tester in store.
